Yes, the Bio-Toilet has full off-the-grid operation. You flush the toilet using a manual pump which takes water from a standing water source. It does not need to be connected to a water or sewage line.
Unlike many compost toilets, The HomeBiogas Bio-Toilet does not attract pests. The biodigester that breaks down the waste is a completely sealed ecosystem.
If you will be feeding HomeBiogas 2.0 biodigester with up to 6 liters / 1.5 gal of food waste per day, then it is recommended to use the Bio-Toilet only up to 20 flushes per day. If you will only be inputting toilet waste into the biodigester via the Bio-Toilet, then you can go up to 30 flushes per day.
It’s ideal to station the biodigester as close as possible to the bio-toilet. Maximum distance should not surpass 7 meters / 23 ft. Also, it is preferable to have the HomeBiogas biodigester situated lower than the bio-toilet, however, it can be situated up to 2 meters / 6.5 ft. higher than the bio-toilet if needed.

Bag2Nature TG1B & 2.0 LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
This warranty is provided by Bag2Nature LTD. in connection with the purchase of the Bag2Nature TG1B and 2.0 Household Systems.
1. Warranty Description:
Bag2Nature warrants to the Customer that for 24 months after the delivery of the product to the customer, the company shall provide, free of charge, a replacement for any part that is faulty or has failed.
1.1 Subject to assembly and use per the Company’s Manuals and under normal use and service, the System shall be in compliance in all material respects with the specifications thereof at the time of delivery to Customer and for a warranty period of twenty four (24) months from the date of delivery to Customer (the ”Warranty Period”) shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials.
1.2 During the Warranty Period, Bag2Nature shall repair or replace at its option and expense any part which fails to comply with the Warranty specified above in Sections 1.1 Shipment of the replacement parts to Customer’s original destination shall be at the expense of the Customer. Notwithstanding the above, the final determination whether a part is defective shall be made by Bag2Nature.
2. Limitation on Warranties:
Warranties and Customer’s remedies hereunder are solely for the benefit of Customer and shall not be extended to any person whatsoever. Customer shall be solely responsible for the selection, use, efficiency and suitability of the System. This warranty shall not apply to any System or related items if Bag2Nature’ testing and examination describes that the alleged defect or non-conformity does not exist or, that:
(i) have been used with accessories and appliances not compatible with biogas;
(ii) have been damaged by improper installation, operation, maintenance, misuse, accident, neglect, fire, accident, lightening, or other peril, failure to continually provide a suitable operating environment, or from any other cause beyond Bag2Nature’ reasonable control, including Force Majeure even (as described in the General Conditions);
(iii) have been used in a manner not in accordance with the instructions supplied by Bag2Nature and/or the General Conditions;
(iv) have been subject to the opening of any sealed components without Bag2Nature’ prior written approval;
(v) have had changes made by Customer or Customer’s representatives to the physical, mechanical or interconnection components of the System supplied by Bag2Nature without written authorization of Bag2Nature to do so; or
(vi) have been repaired or otherwise altered by anyone not under the control of, or not having the written authorization of Bag2Nature to do such repair or alteration; and
(vii) does not apply to any cosmetic damage such as scratches or dents; and
(viii) does not apply to any consumables or perishables.
3. Warranty and Post-Warranty Services:
All warranty and post warranty services to the Systems shall be performed by only Bag2Nature, or by any entity appointed by Bag2Nature. This Warranty does not cover any installation, training or service charges.
4. THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY DOCUMENT CONSTITUTE Bag2Nature SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY FOR DEFECTIVE OR NONCONFORMING SYSTEM AND SERVICES AND SHALL CONSTITUTE CUSTOMER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DEFECTIVE OR NONCONFORMING SYSTEM AND SERVICES. THESE WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES ON THE PART OF Bag2Nature FOR DAMAGES.

Please contact Bag2Nature or the Bag2Nature certified reseller of the Systems specifying the model number and the serial number indicated on the nameplate that is affixed to the System’s frame.

No refunds will be issued after more than 30 days from delivery
For full refunds all returns must be within 30 days from shipping. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused, free from dirt, dust or damage, and in the same package and condition that you received it. If your return passes our inspection, you may receive an exchange, credit, or a refund. Please include a note with your return stating your order number, the reason for return, and if you prefer refund, exchange, or credit.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
If you are approved, then your refund, exchange or store credit will be processed. For refunds, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-5 days. We do offer exchanges within the us, but we don’t offer any exchanges for international orders
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS:

On all international orders, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay import and customs duties and fees that are incurred as a result of shipment.
The system is transported to the customers by air shipping.

Efluent is the liquid that comes out of the fertilizer outlet of the Bag2Nature system after the waste has been digested to produce biogas. The efluent should be diverted directly to a treatment solution without potential for user contact. There are 3 options to manage the effluent:
Option 1: Divert efluent back into your existing sewage infrastructure
Option 2: Divert efluent into your existing septic tank
Option 3: Construct a small-size drainfield in your backyard
We recommend Option 3, which can be installed all on your own, without the help of a technician or plumber. Bag2Nature provides instructions on how to construct a drainfield and what plants can be planted over it.
